The 1892 Original Arabica
We are the quiet guardians of one of the last remaining patches of the original Arabica—among the final places on earth where these ancient, untouched trees still grow.
Brought from Ethiopia during the sorrowful era of the slave trade and planted in 1892, these seeds were carried across the sea and given new life in the sheltered, mineral-rich soil of the Yucatán Crater. Here, under God’s kind providence, they have thrived for more than a century. The flavor of their beans is unlike any other: pure, deep, and luminous, as though the Garden itself still lingers in every cup.
In this quiet crater, beneath wide heavens and ancient stone, a handful of these rare groves endure. They are not many, and time presses close.With reverence and steady hands we tend them—pruning, praying, and protecting—so that this living thread of God’s original creation will not slip away. Each harvest we gather is offered as a small act of thanksgiving: a reminder that, even now, the Lord’s first blessings remain among us, still bearing fruit, still inviting us to taste and see that He is good.
